Healthcare workforce education · By proposal
Menopause health literacy for the people patients talk to first.
Nurses, CNAs, medical assistants and allied health professionals field menopause questions every day — often without ever having been taught the basics. We design audience-appropriate curriculum, with qualified clinical review, for health systems, practices and educators.
What we build
Curriculum design and delivery, scoped to your audience.
Midlife Works' founder is an instructional designer and former health-education faculty, not a clinician. That is the point: we build the learning architecture — objectives, activities, assessments, facilitator materials — and qualified clinical subject-matter experts review every clinical claim before anything is delivered.
Audiences
CNAs, medical assistants, LPNs/RNs, allied health, front-desk and patient-access teams, community health workers.
Content
Menopause health literacy, symptom recognition at a role-appropriate level, patient communication, when and how to refer, credible resources, the clinician's own menopause at work.
Formats
Facilitated modules (60–120 minutes), half-day sessions, onboarding units, train-the-trainer for nurse educators, and curriculum packages your team delivers.
Deliverables
Objectives, slide decks, facilitator guides, participant materials, knowledge checks, evaluation instruments, and a documented clinical review trail.
Boundaries we keep
Clear lines, stated up front.
- Clinical review is required. Diagnosis and treatment content is reviewed by a qualified physician or advanced practice clinician before use, and the reviewer is credited.
- No CE/CME claims without an accredited provider. We do not advertise continuing-education credit. Where a client wants credit, we design to an accredited provider's requirements and partner with that provider.
- Scope of practice is respected. Each module is written for what that role actually does — recognition, communication and referral for support staff; more depth for nursing audiences.
- Evidence is current and cited. Content draws on The Menopause Society, ACOG, NIH and peer-reviewed sources, with publication and review dates on every module.
Scoping a healthcare curriculum?
Tell us the audience, the setting and the timeline. We'll propose a design-and-review plan, including how clinical review and any accreditation partnership would work.
