Midlife Works Advisory · HR & employers

Turn a good workshop into an organizational practice.

Education opens the door. Advisory is how HR walks through it: readiness assessment, policy and benefits education, a customized Playbook, and partnership over time — measured honestly.

Organizational Readiness Assessment

A structured review of where you stand: policies, benefits, environment, manager capability, communication and culture — scored against The Menopause Society's employer recommendation categories and your own goals.

Deliverable: Readiness report and prioritized roadmap

HR & Benefits Workshop

A two-hour working session for HR, benefits and people-operations teams: benefits navigation, leave and accommodation processes, communication, and how to field requests consistently. Legal content is general and counsel-reviewed.

Deliverable: 2-hour workshop with implementation worksheet

The Midlife Works Playbook

A customized, branded implementation guide for your organization: policy review framework, manager guidance, benefits and EAP navigation, communication templates, an education calendar and evaluation plan.

Deliverable: Custom Playbook (4–6 weeks)

Annual Education Partnership

Quarterly programming across employee, manager and HR audiences, an executive briefing, priority scheduling and an annual evaluation report. The way organizations move from a one-time event to a practice.

Deliverable: Four sessions per year plus evaluation

All Advisory engagements are scoped by proposal. Starting prices: HR workshop from $2,250; custom Playbook typically $3,000–$6,000; annual partnerships typically $8,000–$15,000 depending on size and scope.

What's in a Playbook

A document your HR team will actually use.

Not a policy memo. A working guide that tells managers what to do, tells HR how to respond consistently, and tells employees where to go — in your organization's voice.

  • Policy review framework and gap analysis
  • Benefits, leave and EAP navigation map
  • Accommodation request flow and FAQs
  • Manager conversation guide and escalation path
  • Environment checklist (temperature, breaks, facilities)
  • Internal communication templates
  • Twelve-month education calendar
  • Evaluation plan: what to measure and what not to claim

Our commitments

What we will and won't do.

We will

  • Ground every recommendation in cited evidence and your own data.
  • Keep employee health information out of our hands and yours.
  • Evaluate knowledge, confidence and perceived support, in aggregate.
  • Say where the evidence is still thin.

We won't

  • Give legal advice; counsel reviews policy language.
  • Give medical advice or recommend treatments.
  • Promise turnover reductions or ROI we can't prove.
  • Collect identifiable employee health data for you.

Start with a readiness conversation.

A 20-minute call to understand where your organization is and what the right first step looks like — a workshop, an assessment or a Playbook.
